Washington High School freshman Kendall Tippeconnic was recently crowned the 2026 Oklahoma Indian Nation Powwow Senior Miss Princess!

Kendall was crowned during the 36th annual Oklahoma Indian Nation Powwow held July 31–August 2 in Concho. During the coronation, she wore a very special buckskin dress belonging to her great-grandmother, Kathryn Hoffman, and one of the last dresses her great-grandmother beaded.

Kendall is beginning her freshman year at WHS and stays busy as a varsity athlete in softball, basketball, and track. She also plays competitive softball for Gametime National Thomason, traveling to compete in several states.

Kendall shared that one of the things she is most looking forward to during her reign is the opportunity to be a role model for younger girls.

We are proud to have Kendall representing her family, her culture, the Oklahoma Indian Nation Powwow, and Washington High School. Congratulations, Kendall!
