Dear parents and guardians,
In the very near future, Cornerstone Eastside will be merging with Cornerstone's main building across the street at 1200 Independence Ct. The Eastside building owner has decided to put the building up for sale, so we will be moving our staff and children to our other location which is privately owned and will have no threat of closure. Our goal is to have the move completed by the second week of October 2021. To allow for a smooth transition for all, we are intending on keeping Eastside's children and staff together as much as possible.
There will be an Open House to be announced prior to our move. This will be a great opportunity for parents and children to come and see their new classrooms and have any questions they may have answered by teachers and staff. There will be NO INTERRUPTION IN SERVICE TO OUR FAMILIES. Both buildings have all of the same policies and rate and door codes will be transferred to the new building as well. (If we find there are multiple families with the same code, you will be contacted to choose a new code.)
If you participate in the Child Care Connection Program, I will be contacting you to fill out a "Change of provider form" prior to our move. We will be sending out more information regarding the date and time of the Open House and state date at the new location as soon as possible. In the meantime, please feel free to come to me with any questions you may have.
Combining buildings will provide additional staff and the much anticipated return to our normal operating hours of 6:30 am-5:30 pm. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope that once we are settled in, you will be happy with our new surroundings. Rest assured, we will continue to provide loving, dependable child care services for all of our families.
