This year Day and fell on the same day, so we hosted ABA employees' children at our HQ for a day full of learning and fun! 👨‍🏫 Our small visitors decorated piggy banks, engaged in financial literacy lessons, and toured the state-of-the-art ABA video studio. 📽 They also heard from ABA President & CEO Rob Nichols during a catered lunch. 🍽 Thank you to the staff volunteers that developed this amazing program and made the day possible!

Almost half of young people between ages 18-25 haven't checked their credit scores in the last year. 💳 A credit score is like a financial GPA that can be accessed by your bank, lenders, landlords, and insurance companies. 🚗 🏢 It can determine whether you get a loan, can sign a lease, and more.

Check fraud has increased by 385% since the pandemic. These schemes commonly target the U.S. mail to steal checks, alter or wash them to change the payee and dollar amount, and ultimately steal money from victims’ accounts.

ABA’s own Frank Pigulski participated in the Congressional Hockey Challenge this week as a member of Team Lobbyists. The annual game, which benefits multiple charities, pits lawmakers and congressional staff against lobbyists from a variety of industries. Though Team Lawmakers prevailed this year, ABA was proud to participate and even raffled off tickets so our staff could watch and cheer for Frank.
