Congratulations to our WHS Accents Show Choir for their performance at the Arabian Spectacular at Pendleton Heights H.S. Though we did not get the win, we did earn BEST VOCALS! We have one week to improve our show and give it another go at the Lawrence Central Classic show choir competition Saturday in Indianapolis.

Choral Retreat: Each year our choir students retreat into the choir room for about 8 hours on a Saturday in November to learn additional Madrigal Dinner songs and logistics. In the video we are learning "The Ukrainian Bell Carol". A LOT of work goes into a madrigal dinner.

Side note: This year's Madrigal dinner's are sold out. Annually, reservations go on sale in the middle of November. There is a waitlist available on our choir web page if you were unable to secure reservations before the sell out. The waitlist could also potentially tell us how much interest there is in reservations, potentially opening up a third performance this year or next.

Friday night WHS Choir traveled down to sing at an Evansville Thunderbolts game. It's a great opportunity for our singers to perform in a professional setting. AND it's a great way for family, friends and community members to get inexpensive tickets through us!! WJHS will be going on Jan. 23rd if you wanted tickets. The video is a look at our warm up behind the scenes in the tunnel before we take the ice.

The final song! Congratulations to the class of 2025 from the choir. And, congratulations to all our choir students on a successful school year. Everyone have a great summer and we will see you again in August when we start the 2025-2026 school year.

Day 3, WHS Choir in Branson, MO. We began our day at Silver Dollar City and ended on the Branson Belle Showboat. WOW!! A great day... a great trip.

It must be said that our Choir students have left an amazing impression of our choir, Washington High School, the town of Washington and Indiana with everyone throughout this weekend. Represent! Respect! Amazing students! Amazing Chaperones, thank you so much! Sunday, we are coming home!
