With the government shutdown and the upcoming suspension of SNAP benefits beginning November 1, several of our student-led groups are joining forces with local churches and community members to organize a district-wide food drive to support families in need.

We are so thankful to share that Washington FBC has graciously agreed to serve as the main hub and pickup location for this effort.

If you live in the Washington community and your family could use assistance, please click the link below and complete the confidential form. A representative will contact you closer to the pickup date and provide you with your assigned number. On your designated day, simply drive up to the church, share your number, and your groceries will be brought directly to your vehicle.

It's that time again for a new set of NJHS officers to be chosen. Attached is the intent form as well as the positions and their descriptions. On top of attending a once a month member meeting, officers meet once a month to organize the member meeting & discuss service projects. They are also specifically selected to attend the Oklahoma NJHS state convention in the spring. Other duties include helping run the new candidate induction ceremony that now takes place in the fall semester. Please bring a hard copy filled out and signed by August 29th to Mrs. Lawrence. 😀
