Today was one of our favorite days of the year, Bus driver training day! All BCS bus drivers participated in professional development lead by, Mr. Miller, Transportation Director. We reviewed policies, procedures, pre trips, school bus law and much more. We all enjoyed a catered lunch of fried chicken, shrimp, fish and all the fixings. All drivers also recieved our annual transportation team shirts, we had a great day of fellowship and learning. Our bus driver team is gearing up for an awesome 26/27 school year!

Join us in welcoming our newest team member, Technician, Dylan Handy to our team. Dylan started June 8th and has already passed his written CDL classroom testing to obtain his bus license, completed about 20 bus services and has truly hit the ground running! Mrs. Jennifer Cobb, Assistant Transportation Director and TIMS Coordinator attended the annual NCPTA summer Transposium in Asheville, NC last week. After competing in the TIMS Bus Routing Competition, she took home 2nd place AND was by far the first to finish the Competition! Congratulations Mrs. Cobb and we thank you for all you do for our students and staff at BCS!!
