We will meet on Fridays at 12:15 p.m. from September 4 to November 20 to the left of the Chamber of Commerce Building on the Washington Waterfront.
All ages & abilities are welcome
The route is stroller & wheelchair friendly

It's time to learn how to preserve all those fresh vegetables and fruits coming from your garden this summer!! We are offering three different Home Preservation Classes to teach you how to do just that (see flyer for details)! If you have old pesticides (NOT FERTILIZERS OR PAINT, ETC.) that need to be disposed of, we will have a collection day here at NC Cooperative Extension Beaufort County Center (155 Airport Road, Washington) on Tuesday March 17th from 10AM to 2PM.

NCDA personnel will be on hand to help with the collection.

If you have containers larger than 5 gallons, let Rod Gurganus (252-943-5632) know asap so arrangements can be made.

The schedule for the classes is as follows:

Pest of Warm Season Turfgrasses 1:00 p.m.-2:20 p.m.
and Their Control
Turfgrass W**d Management 2:30 p.m.-3:50 p.m.
New Certification and Training Regulations 4:00 p.m.-4:50 p.m.
