I hope everyone is doing well! I wanted to send a quick follow-up regarding our upcoming Washington Township High School Class of 1976 – 50th Reunion.

The reunion is quickly approaching, and we need your help! If you are planning to attend, please take a moment to RSVP and purchase your tickets as soon as possible. Having an accurate head count will allow us to secure the appropriate size room and make sure we have everything in place for a great evening.

We are very fortunate that several members of the Reunion Committee have generously made donations to help keep the ticket price down. Our goal is to make this milestone celebration affordable and encourage as many of our classmates as possible to attend.

🏫 WTHS High School Walk-Through

Friday, October 2nd at 3:30 PM

We also have an opportunity to take a walk through our old high school with the school principal. This could be a very special trip down memory lane, but we need to know if there is enough interest to make it worthwhile.

If you are considering joining us for the school walk-through, please let us know. We are hoping for a minimum number of classmates to participate, and if there isn't enough interest, we may have to cancel this opportunity.

⛳ Friday Golf Outing

Friday, October 2nd at 8:30 AM
Wedgewood Country Club

We are also putting together a round of golf on Friday morning. We currently have tee times available, but we need a head count of classmates who would like to play.

If you're interested in golfing, please let us know as soon as possible so we can finalize the number of players and tee times.

📧 A Quick Note About the Emails

You may notice that you receive this same email more than once over the coming week. We are sending the reunion information in different groupings in an effort to reach as many classmates as possible.

Unfortunately, we have already had quite a few emails returned as undeliverable, possibly because certain email hosts have spam filters or security settings that are blocking the group emails. We're trying a few different ways to get this information through to everyone.

So, if you see this email more than once, please don't think we've forgotten that we already sent it! We're simply doing our best to make sure no Class of '76 classmate misses out.

This is going to be a very special weekend as we celebrate 50 years since we graduated together. We hope you'll make plans to join us, reconnect with old friends, share some laughs and memories, and celebrate this incredible milestone.

Dear Classmates,
I hope everyone is doing well! As we continue planning our Washington Township High School Class of 1976 – 50th Reunion, I wanted to share an update on all of the exciting events being planned for our milestone weekend.
Our 50th Class Reunion will be held on Saturday, October 3rd, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Scarpinato's, located at Wedgewood Country Club.
Please keep an eye on your email! The Reunion Committee will soon be sending an Evite with complete details and instructions on how to purchase your reunion tickets. We encourage everyone to respond as soon as possible so we can finalize our plans.
In addition to Saturday evening's reunion, we're hoping to offer several optional events throughout the weekend:
Friday, October 2nd – Golf Outing
• Tee times begin at 8:30 AM at Wedgewood Golf Course.
• Our initial goal is to fill two foursomes (8 classmates). If there's additional interest, Wedgewood will gladly add more tee times.
Friday, October 2nd – WTHS School Tour
• Join us at 3:30 PM for a special walk-through of our old high school with the school principal.
• We are hoping for a minimum of 15 classmates to participate in this memorable visit.
Please let us know if you're interested in either of these events so we can make the necessary arrangements.
And there's more! Stay tuned as we're also working on plans for an informal Friday evening gathering and a Sunday morning farewell brunch. More details on those events will be coming soon.

I hope you're still reading because I have one important request.
Attached to this email is a list of our classmates who are no longer with us. Please take a few moments to review it and let me know if anyone has inadvertently been omitted. We want to be certain that every classmate is remembered.
During the reunion, we will have a Memorial Table honoring those classmates who have passed away. It will be a special place to reflect on the friendships and memories they shared with us, and to ensure they remain a part of this milestone celebration.

Thank you for helping us make our 50th Reunion a truly memorable weekend. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you.

Dear Classmates and Friends of WTHS Class of 1976.

Friday June 28
We have a W.T.H.S. "Class of 76" Get Together planned at Ott's located on Greentree Rd. We have our own room at Ott's during the hours of 6:00 to 9:00. Many of you have expressed interest and plan to attend. I need a head count. ASAP ! The management has requested this of me so they can adequately staff. The bar & restaurant will be open for business much later for a full evening of fun. Did I mention I need a head count ! If we don't have at least 25 classmates & friends of our class planning to attend, I will select another date in the fall and try again.
Please reach out to classmates who may not be on Facebook. I have no idea who will see this post. I hope you understand my request. Please text, or call me anytime. A short text is better with your name, email address, and if you are planning to attend.

Saturday June 29 ****
Same request different date. We can all be quests of Bells Lake Greenwood Park for a day at Bells Lake. This will be a Class of 1976 and friends of the class private event. I need a head count !
If we don't have 20 that will commit to attend, this event will not happen. As a guest of the park we can use barbeque grills and bring in our own beverage of choice. NO GLASS. Coolers will be checked for glass, so please don't try to sneak any glass container into the event.

I hope your still reading. If we do not have enough of you that commit to attend on Saturday at Bells Lake, we will still have an evening at Ott's on Friday. Please text or call me anytime. When I sleep, which is not much these days, I turn my phone OFF. So you can text or call me anytime. I will post again here on Facebook next week with an update.

WTHS Class of 1976 & Friends. Still Alive at 65 !
Plans are all set for a weekend WTHS Class of 76 get together. The date is Friday June 28 and Saturday June 29.
Please reach out to me with any questions.

Plans on Friday 6/28 are Ott’s Greentree Rd.
We have a private room inside at the main bar from 6:00-9:00. The entire property is open and we can come and go as we please. The property is open much later for hanging out after this time. Please show up anytime. Live DJ will provide entertainment. If your plans include dinner, we will order off the house menu.
In our room, will be provided with our own server or two, depending on how many guests in our party. I’ll need a head count. Otherwise you can just go to one of the many bars and order your food, and beverage of choice. No cover charge. No room fee for use of our room.

Saturday 6/29. Bells Lake in Greenwood Park.
Time : 3:00-11:00. This event is open to all class members. Many WTHS Alumni from other classes attend this annual event.
You can bring you own food and beverages. Grills are provided at the park for cooking. As we get closer I will post again with a few suggestion to make this an enjoyable time for all who attend.

I’m trying to create a data base for class members so we will have an amazing 50th
Class Reunion. It will be 50 years very soon.

One week from today (5/13) we have plans for a Class 0f 1976 & Friends "Get Together" at the Whitman Square Mens Club @ 7:30. So far many of you have contacted me confirming your plans to attend. The Mens club will offer reduced drink prices for our event. I plan on providing some food,but not dinner. For music the Mens Club has a great sound system,and we will be using
Pandora (?) or a App like Pandora for our music.The cost is $ 10.00 to cover the room rental.

Please encourage our classmates, and friends of W.T.H.S. Class of 1976 to attend our Get Together.

Hello W.T.H.S.Class of 1976 & Friends


We MAY be doing a "Get Together" on May 13,2017.
Please provide me with a little feedback. Are you able to "possibly" attend on this date ? Based on our class response, I will plan a party, or not. My first choice would Whitman Square's Men's Club. As you can see in this class picture above. We've held a few party's at the WS Men's Club, and it's really nice and private, a nice casual setting for all to enjoy. Just some good music, drinks, and great friends.

Hello W.T.H.S. Class of 1976 !

WOW ! What a nice time we all had at our 40th Class Reunion.
I hope those of you that attended will agree. Over the next few months, please check out "New" Facebook Washington Township Class of 1976 site. I'm hopeful all of you, will use this site to stay connected, or re-connect with classmates. I've had a number of requests to plan another "Get Together" in the spring of 2017. As you are aware, we offer these events, to the class of 1976, friends of the class,as well as alumni from W.T.H.S.
A few weeks prior to our 40th reunion, I posted many of my "old" photos of our class.Most of these pictures were taken in June of 1976 ! I have more to share,I'll post them sometime soon.
