Apply by April 26 to participate in the Virtual Workshop for Youth Leaders in English Teaching (WYLET) for FLEX and YES Alumni — a dynamic online program designed to help you lead engaging and impactful English classes and conversation clubs.
This virtual workshop, taking place from May 25 to June 5, will bring together 30 FLEX and YES alumni for an intensive, hands‑on learning experience focused on best practices in English language instruction.
What to expect:
🌟 Training in lesson planning and online classroom management
🌟 Strategies for organizing and leading effective English conversation clubs
🌟 Guidance on teaching grammar, targeted language points, and presentation skills
🌟 Practical applications of AI tools for lesson planning and classroom support
Participants will attend three 1.5‑hour virtual sessions per week, along with independent work and mentorship support from experienced WYLET alumni.
📌 Put your skills into action:
As a required follow‑on activity, participants will co‑lead a one‑hour English conversation class for FLEX finalists preparing for the 2026–2027 program year — gaining real teaching experience while supporting future exchange students.
