Education for Afghanistan (EFA) is accepting applications from qualified Afghan educators for K–12 instructor positions for its 4th Academic Year, 2026–2027.

EFA is seeking instructors for Grades 1–12 across all K–12 subjects in Dari/Persian, Pashto and English sections.

Please watch the full video carefully before completing the application. The video explains the available teaching opportunities, applicant priorities, instructor responsibilities, technical requirements, and recruitment process.

Applicants must complete the form carefully and accurately and upload an updated CV/resume. At this first stage, no other documents are required.

IMPORTANT EMAIL INSTRUCTIONS

Please use an active email address and type it correctly. Shortlisted applicants may be contacted through the email address provided in the application form. After the deadline and application review, check your inbox and spam/junk folders regularly so that you do not miss an official EFA communication.

PRIORITY AND ELIGIBILITY

Priority may be given to applicants who:

• Successfully completed the EFA Teacher Training Course / Teacher Training Certification (TTC)
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge, teaching ability, online-teaching readiness, and professional commitment

However, if a suitable TTC-certified or EFA-experienced instructor is not available for a particular subject, grade, or language section, other qualified applicants may also be considered.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

This form is the first stage of the recruitment process. Submission of an application does not guarantee shortlisting, interview, demo presentation, selection, or contract.

After the application deadline and review process, shortlisted applicants may be contacted by the EFA Recruitment Team for:

• Additional documents
• An online interview
• A demo teaching presentation
• Final academic and professional review
• A formal contract

Only shortlisted applicants may be contacted for the next stage.

INSTRUCTOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Selected instructors will be expected to:

• Prepare and deliver high-quality, well-structured lessons
• Engage students actively and support meaningful learning
• Use EFA’s LMS and online teaching systems responsibly
• Prepare lessons, assignments, assessments, and learning materials
• Contribute to recorded learning content
• Participate in orientation, training, meetings, and professional-development activities
• Follow EFA’s academic, safeguarding, communication, attendance, and professional standards

EFA is also preparing future professional-development and certification opportunities in education-related fields. Educators with relevant expertise or interest are encouraged to follow EFA’s official channels for future announcements.

EFA K–12 Enrollment Now Open!

Education for Afghanistan (EFA) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 4th academic year, 2026–2027, for a limited number of eligible Afghan students.

EFA offers cost-free, real-time online classes, professional instructors, an international-standard curriculum, and access to learning through the EFA Learning Management System (LMS).

Please watch the video carefully to learn about the application process and EFA’s academic pathways, including:
• Standard Academic Pathway (SAP)
• Accelerated Learning Pathway (ALP) — 2 grades in 1 academic year
• Highly Accelerated Learning Pathway (HALP) — 3 grades in 1 academic year for highly eligible students

Applicants must fill out the form carefully and make sure the student and parent/guardian email addresses are typed correctly. After the application deadline, August 10, 2026, and once applications are reviewed, shortlisted applicants will be contacted by the EFA Admissions Office through the emails provided in the form. Applications are open for a limited time and limited seats. After the deadline, there may not be another enrollment chance until next year.

Teacher Training Program - Cohort Placement Form

All shortlisted TTC applicants are strongly encouraged to carefully read and complete the official Cohort Placement & Follow-Up Form shared below. Please take a few minutes to review the attached description and read each section of the form attentively before submitting your responses, as your answers will directly determine your cohort placement and next steps in the program.

Kindly complete the form within the stated deadline and ensure that all information is accurate and thoughtfully provided.

We sincerely thank all applicants/instructors who participated in our recent TTC Orientation Sessions. Your engagement and thoughtful participation made these sessions meaningful and inspiring.

Over the past days, we have also received many emails from applicants who missed the orientation session. To ensure fairness and proper cohort placement, we have now released the official TTC Cohort Placement & Follow-Up Form.

This form serves multiple purposes:
• For applicants who attended orientation (cohort placement scheduling)
• For applicants who missed orientation
• For applicants who did not receive the invitation email
• For exceptional new applicants seeking reserve consideration

Please note that the official TTC application period has already closed. We are not actively opening a new round; however, in rare and highly qualified cases, submissions may be reviewed for reserve consideration. Submission does not guarantee placement.

During the coming weeks (including Ramadan), our team will carefully review responses, finalize cohort divisions, and prepare instructor accounts. Live classes are expected to begin after Ramadan. All official updates will be shared via email.
This form will remain open until March 2, 2026. Applicants who do not complete it within the deadline may be excluded from cohort placement.

Final Interview Opportunity for EFA Applicants (Grades 1–12)
The Education for Afghanistan (EFA) Platform has completed the first round of interviews for shortlisted students in Grades 1–12 for the 2025–2026 school year. We are inspired by the enthusiasm and commitment of our applicants.

However, Over the past few days, EFA has received numerous messages from students and parents who missed their scheduled interviews due to technical difficulties or inadvertent email oversights. After careful consideration—and in recognition of their continued interest and patience—EFA has decided to grant these applicants one final opportunity to complete their interviews.

All eligible students and parents have now been re-emailed with updated Interview invitation details. Please check both your inbox and spam folders for the invitation and meeting link sent to the email addresses used in your application.

Before attending, ensure a stable internet connection, a quiet environment, and that a parent or guardian is present for consent verification.

Please note that participating in the interview is mandatory. Submitting an application form alone does not guarantee admission.
