Join fellow Hoyas for a walking tour of the Georgetown neighborhood, exploring 250 years of American history, architecture, and local lore!

250 years of American History!

You may know about the booth at Martin's Tavern where John F. Kennedy proposed to Jackie Bouvier and the Exorcist Staircase, but how much are you aware of the original Scottish settlers, the thriving black community called Herring Hill, and the origins of many of the churches and commercial establishments that have existed for 200 years? The town was a thriving to***co port decades before the establishment of the nation's capital nearby.

Join fellow Hoyas as we walk the Georgetown neighborhood and cover the variety of architectural styles that are predominant and, of course, some of the eccentric and notorious inhabitants over the decades.

*This event is weather dependent. No refunds except in the case of a cancellation.
