GW's chapter of Alpha Delta Pi! Founded May 15, 1851, in Macon, Georgia, ADPi is the mother of today’s sorority system.
Originally known as the “Adelphean Society,” from the Greek word, adelphae, meaning sister, ADPi has maintained high standards for membership over the years. Scholarship, leadership, service and sisterhood are some of the main principles that members of Alpha Delta Pi strive to uphold. Today there are over 182,500 initiated members of the sorority worldwide and more than 130 collegiate chapters, including our Alpha Pi chapter, throughout the United States and Canada.

Senior Spotlight 🌟 shares why ADPi has meant so much to her:
“When I look back on my college experience, my favorite memories come from ADPi. I’m so lucky to be surrounded by such supportive, cool, passionate women for the past few years and can’t wait to bring these friendships with me after graduation. Shoutout to my amazing family and best friends!”
We love you, Isabel! 🤍
