Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Malorie Brody, BSBA '26, now works as a Business Development Representative for Columbia Books & Information Services, working with their 3 major brands: CEO Update, NonProfit Pro, and Association Trends.

Malorie graduated from the Busch School with a Marketing specialization and a minor in Studio Art. Now, she builds and strengthens Columbia Books & Information Services’ partnerships with association and nonprofit executives and C-suite leaders, mainly through their industry events.

“CatholicU and the Busch School of Business was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Catholic not only helped me grow academically, but spiritually. I was able to grow my faith and I owe that to Father Bernard and Catholic's OCIA program. I was able to learn from some of the most talented professors, but I also got to form close relationships with them,” said Malorie.

As we get ready for students to come back to campus, the rise of AI tools are providing educators with a unique challenge.

This spring, Busch School of Business faculty agreed on a unique and clear AI use policy.

The Busch Difference? We asked: how do we ensure that AI use *serves* rather than *subverts* their formation?

Today, Dean Andrew Abela writes how the Busch School's AI approach will uniquely form our students for success, today and tomorrow.

He writes: "The Busch School is confident that while technology continues to evolve, the truth does not. By forming the whole person and rooting our courses in the light of the Catholic faith, we prepare our students to weather the stormy seas of change and excel in life by taking character as seriously as competence."

Today is the feast day of St. Maximilian Kolbe, and his example can teach us what true leadership looks like when the stakes are highest.

St. Maximilian Kolbe was a journalist, apologist, and missionary, and his witness culminated in his martyrdom during World War II, inspiring countless faithful around the world. He is honored in the Busch School's St. Michael the Archangel Chapel's stained glass.
