There are a lot of things happening in the world right now that have caused distress and fear among people, but we should always remember that in every ordeal there is still hope. Even though it is difficult not to go outside, it is very important to follow the rules for our own safety and security. Let’s stick together and stay home until we all pass this storm.

Have you heard of Merieme Chadid?
In 2005, she became the first Moroccan to reach the heart of Antarctica during her polar expedition to set up a new observatory. Dr. Chadid discovered her love of astronomy from a book that her brother gave her when she was 12. Today, she promotes education through her lectures and work with students. She even has a documentary on astronomy for children called Tarik Annujah! Thank you for inspiring our STEMpowerment girls to pursue careers in !”
هل سمعت عن مريم شديد؟ في عام 2005 ، أصبحت أول مغربية تصل إلى قلب القارة القطبية الجنوبية خلال رحلتها القطبية لإنشاء مرصد جديد. اكتشفت الدكتورة شديد حبها لعلم الفلك من كتاب قدمه لها أخيها عندما كانت في الثانية عشرة من عمرها. وهي اليوم تروج للتعليم من خلال محاضراتها والعمل مع الطلاب. لديها فيلم وثائقي عن علم الفلك للأطفال يدعى طارق عنوجة! شكرًا لك مريم شديد على إلهام فتياتنا في برنامج STEMpowerment لمتابعة الوظائف في مجالات STEM.

Check out what the STEMpowerment girls from the village of Sefrou are mixing up! Today, they learned about chemical reactions using citric acid (lemon juice), sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), and, of course, green food coloring. The resulting carbon dioxide bubbles created lots of bubbles and lots of laughs. We love and !
"تفحصو ما يقمن به الفتيات في مدينة صفرو! اليوم ، لقد قاموا بعمل تفاعلات كيميائية باستخدام حامض الستريك (عصير الليمون) ، بيكربونات الصوديوم (صودا) ، وبطبيعة الحال ، ملون الطعام الأخضر. هذه التفاعلات خلقت الكثير من فقاعات ثاني أكسيد الكربون و الكثير من الضحك. نحن نحب العلوم و التجارب.
