The Refresher Road to Selective College Admissions is now extended the application deadline to June 6, 2021!

Description:

USG program alumni will come back to refresh their knowledge about the college application process and become successful in applying to US schools. At the end of this project, students will be able to submit completed applications to their best-fit schools since during this refresher course they will understand how to research schools as they will build a list of colleges of interest. We will provide tools to help students begin considering financing a college education, building a support network and tips on how to be successful in college after matriculation.

The workshop series are designed for active, motivated and goal oriented alumni who intend to apply and study in the US. Workshops will be intensive and packed with valuable information and helpful resources to navigate through the application process to the U.S. higher educational institutions. Participation is free of charge; however, it requires 100% attendance, 100% motivation, 100% initiative and a full time-commitment during the program.

Eligibility:

All US Government (USG) program alumni, such as Undergraduate Cohort Advising (UCA), Prep4Success (P4S) and Admissions Workshop (AW) alumni. Program is open for all alumni from all regions in Turkmenistan (instruction will be in English).

Application Deadline: Sunday, June 6, 2021 at 17:30
Late and/or incomplete applications will NOT be considered.

ONLY eligible candidates will be contacted over email provided on this application form.

Duration: 5 days, 3hrs per each session.

The U.S. Embassy announces an open competition for the 2022 Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program, which provides international teachers with unique opportunities to develop expertise in their subject areas, enhance their teaching skills and increase their knowledge about the United States.

Participants will travel to the United States for a six-week program beginning in January or September 2022.

The application cycle for the 2022 Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program is currently accepting applications until 23:59 on May 1, 2021.

Research and Policy Intern
EIG is looking for interns that will engage in all areas of EIG’s operations and work directly with EIG’s Executive Team and staff on a wide variety of projects and topics. Interns will have a unique opportunity to contribute to policy and advocacy efforts impacting US economic growth and new business and job creation. Specific duties include policy research and congressional bill tracking, writing in-depth reports and briefing memos, assisting with events and outreach efforts, managing incoming queries for data, updating entries in EIG databases and monitoring online conversation in key issue areas. In response to COVID-19, EIG staff are temporarily teleworking.

After numerous board meetings and calls with CIEE, we regret to inform you that our Arzuw Work & Travel Loan program is suspended for summer 2021 due to COVID-19 uncertainty and travel regulations.

We will provide frequent updates on our website and here in accordance with regulations and the approval of health authorities.

For summer 2020 finalists, we will be in touch with you privately this week.

The Koch Internship Program combines an educational approach that puts the student in the driver’s seat with hands-on work experience for future leaders interested in making a difference in the world. Through KIP, interns learn about impactful careers in social entrepreneurship, where leaders who come from all walks of life use their unique gifts to advance positive changes in society and help people improve their lives. While in the program, interns work at one of our many participating organizations including think tanks The Carnegie Endowment, The Cato Institute and The Lone Star Policy Institute.
