Our 6th graders took us on a powerful journey through their DOL theme: Hardships That Lead to Transformation. โœจ

Students highlighted the lives of notable figures who faced adversity, overcame challenges, and transformed not only their own lives, but the lives of others for the better. Through research, presentations, and thoughtful reflections, scholars demonstrated resilience, perseverance, and the power of growth through struggle.

We are so proud of the insight, passion, and excellence our students displayed! ๐Ÿ’›

Shout out to our Friendship News Network Scholars! ๐Ÿ“ฐโœจ

Over the past four weeks, our scholars participated in a Saturday enrichment program where they explored different cultures, developed their writing skills, and authored articles based on their experiences. Their hard work and dedication paid off as they were selected as winners in a competition showcasing both their writing and public speaking talents!

Congratulations to our outstanding scholars on this incredible achievement. We are so proud of your growth, creativity, and commitment to excellence! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿฅณ

WHAT. A. DAY.

On May 28th, Friendship Armstrong Elementary & Middle brought learning to life during our phenomenal Demonstration of Learning!

Under our network-wide theme, โ€œInk, Ideas, & Imagination,โ€** our scholars took us From the Page to the Stage** through powerful performances, storytelling, visual art, writing, music, movement, and creativity!

Our students proudly showcased their:
โœ๏ธ Reading & Writing Skills
โž• Math Knowledge
๐Ÿ”ฌ Science Discoveries
๐ŸŒ Social Studies Learning

Our incredible 2nd graders used their voices to speak about the history of the Voting Rights Act and reminded us of our responsibility to protect its integrity today.

Kindergarten scholars took us around the world, while some even gave us a glimpse into life on the farm!

Third grade blasted us into outer space with an unforgettable Space Jam experience!

And 1st grade reminded us through various Cinderella stories that dreams really are possible when you believe in yourself.

We are beyond proud of our scholars, staff, and families for making this event such a beautiful celebration of learning, imagination, confidence, and student voice.
