Community Partnership in Action!
Today, we had the honor of welcoming several team members from OSSE, BrainTrust, and our very own Friendship CEO, Ms. Patricia Brantley, to Armstrong Academy.
This special visit was coordinated by Chief of Staff Mr. Ken Cherry and Ms. Claudia Oliver, and focused on observing the HIT tutoring sessions currently taking place with our rising 2nd graders.

📚✨ Yesterday, our rising 5th graders took a powerful step back in time with a visit to the historic Frederick Douglass House in Southeast D.C. It was an inspiring day filled with learning, reflection, and connection to one of our nation’s great leaders.
☀️ It’s the first of July and summer learning is in full swing! Our rising kindergarten scholars are showing up and working hard every day. The future is bright! 🌟📚

Armstrong’s Summer Learning is moving ahead. Our 7th & 8th are making shadow boxes. The 8th graders had a choice to bring either Haitian or Dominican Republic culture come to life, and 7th graders are creating to show how nature is beyond beautiful.
