FPF is pleased to see the passing of Juneteenth as a federal holiday. In alignment with our nation’s move toward recognizing this important day, FPF offices will be closed tomorrow for Juneteenth as we as an organization reflect on both the history and current state of racism in our country. FPF social media will also be muted in an effort to help elevate all of the voices that continue to build awareness and take action on issues such as equity and inclusion.

To learn more about the historical significance of Juneteenth, visit the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture website: https://nmaahc.si.edu/events/juneteenth.
