Raise your hand if you had a teacher or librarian who changed how you felt about reading.

Maybe they read aloud in a voice that made the whole class lean in. Maybe they always had the next book ready before you even finished asking.

Send a message. Leave a comment. Tag them if you can. Let them know the impact they had is still with you.

Who's the teacher or librarian you're thinking of right now? Tell us about them below.

Capybaras are basically nature's chillest creatures, and that's exactly the energy we want for reading time.

Tip: Create one cozy, low-pressure spot for reading, pillows, good light, no pressure to finish a certain number of pages. When reading feels relaxed instead of rushed, kids are more likely to reach for a book on their own.

Where's your family's reading spot?

"My child reads the same book over and over. Should I make them read something new?"

If you've read the same story so many times you practically know it by heart, you may be ready for something new—but your young reader might be getting more from that repetition than you realize.

As Karly explains, rereading books is really, really good for young readers. Reading familiar stories again can help children build fluency, strengthen comprehension, develop vocabulary, and gain confidence in their reading skills.

So the next time your child asks for their favorite book again, remember: rereading is reading—and there's real learning happening along the way.

Does your child have a book they never get tired of? Tell us which one!
