When we love God and love others, we look for ways to do what is right and to stand up for others, and make sure right is done by them as well.
Our verse for this week:
“…the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8 NLT

Special thanks to Ms. Destiny King for coming out in the rain last week as our photographer for picture day!
What a joy to capture our second whole-school picture and capture our growth from year one.
Next year, we're growing even more!

MAP testing is going great this week! We’re focused, we’re engaged, and we’re showing what we know.
MAP testing helps us see how each student progresses over the year, and over time.

This gift—the Holy Spirit—was the fulfillment of the promise Jesus made before He left. Jesus promised to send an advocate and comforter. Someone who could be with us anywhere and at all times.
Our verse for this week:
“He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.” John 14:17 NLT

We’re all set to finish the school year strong!
Our kids celebrated and encouraged each other for our final MAP testing of the year. They ‘re going to show what they know, and how much they’ve grown.
Show them some love in the comments to celebrate their year of learning!

Calling out to God can be a good way to respond to our sadness. God has a way of making us feel comforted, in ways we can’t really explain.
Our verse for this week:
“17 The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. 18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” Psalm 34:17-18 NLT

When you look up in the sky, what do you see?
With paintbrushes in hand, our PreK students answered this question! The DMV weather is unpredictable... Fortunately, this was a great morning for this observation.
