Energy In Depth Become a fan of American energy production, and join the 1.2 million Americans hard at work responsibly developing our domestic energy resources.

Launched by the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) in 2009, Energy In Depth (EID) is a research, education and public outreach campaign focused on getting the facts out about the promise and potential of responsibly developing America’s onshore energy resource base – especially abundant sources of oil and natural gas from shale and other “tight” formations across the country. It’s

an effort that benefits directly from the support, direction and technical expertise of a broad segment of America’s oil and natural gas industry, led in Washington by IPAA, and guided on the ground by IPAA’s more than 6,000 members and affiliates in the states. New Jersey's climate superfund bill stalled this summer, but anti-energy legislators aren't giving up.

Business and labor groups are sounding the alarm, stating this bill would cost NJ households $14,000, kill union jobs, and is "one of the most anti-business proposals in state history."

In June, anti-energy New Jersey legislators and activist groups made a frantic push to pass a climate superfund bill before the general assembly took its summer recess. That effort ultimately stalled as leaders of the proposed legislation struggled to find enough votes before the deadline.
