Banned and pushed underground during the Communist regime in Czechoslovakia, Václav Havel’s plays survived in whispers until the Velvet Revolution brought them back into the light. Today, they stand as masterworks of the theatre of the absurd, studied and performed across the world.

Join us for our student showcase of Largo Desolato which tells the story of Leopold Nettles, a philosopher facing pressure from a totalitarian state for his writings, and explores the internal and external struggles of a political dissident.
April 24 - 7:30 pm
April 25 - 2:00 & 7:00 pm
202.333.2202 for reservations

There is no better time than now to discover Havel. His voice cuts through noise, questions authority, and invites us to examine our own courage and complicity.

One performance only - Sunday April 19 - 7:30 pm!
The Roundlings Present: MISSION IMPROV-IBLE
Directed by NCDA faculty member Kevin Corbet and NCDA alum Kiyana McManus!

The Roundlings are Round House Theatre’s teen comedy ensemble. These whimsical wits write and develop their own original comedy sketches, song parodies, and stand-up comedy. They also thrive while performing short-form improvisation games and long-form improvised scenes. Their new show features audience interactivity, spontaneous silliness, and hopefully…a lot of laughs.
