⚓️⛵️ Celebrating the incredible voyage of Darwin200!Last week, The Duke of Edinburgh toured the 107-year-old ship Oosterschelde. This ship has just completed a two year journey, re-tracing Charles Darwin’s route that was made two centuries ago on HMS Beagle. The Duke met young conservationists and the crew to hear more about their voyage and experiences. 105 young conservationists were selected from 45 countries all over the world and they had opportunity to join part of the voyage. They were selected due to their lifetime passion for nature conservation and their efforts to protect and restore the planet.

🤝 Later, at King Edward VII Memorial Hall, The King and Queen met members of local community groups and businesses.
🏇 Their Majesties ended the day at The Jockey Club, which was founded in 1750 and is today the largest employer and commercial organisation in British horseracing and one of the leading sports businesses in the UK.
Take a closer look as Chef Raymond Blanc OBE works alongside Royal Chef Mark Flanagan and the brilliant team at Windsor Castle, ahead of the State Banquet for President Emmanuel Macron of France and Mrs Macron.
In the spirit of UK-France collaboration, Raymond Blanc was invited to work with Palace chefs to create the first course and dessert.
The menu comprised the freshest local ingredients, including vegetables from across the Royal Estates and Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire.
