Thank you to everyone who came to our affirmative action round table! That’s a wrap on the year, good luck to everyone on finals!
Free-thinkers who further political discourse by placing a premium on individual liberty, traditional values, and the rule of law.
Founded in 1982, the Federalist Society is committed to the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what the law should be. The Society seeks to promote awareness of these principles and to further their application through its activities.

The first official Across the Aisle event was a huge success. Co-sponsored by the Mizzou chapters of FEDSOC and ACS, the event was designed to bring law students of differing view points together to engage in open and honest conversation with each other about their views on the death penalty. A big thank you to Dean Litton and Mizzou Law for cultivating a civil environment in the law school where all students can feel safe sharing their unique points of view.
