MXGWU was established in 2013 as the first Mexican-centric organization whose primary objectives are to share Mexican culture, cuisine, and traditions; foster a constructive and informed dialogue about Mexico and its relation with the US; and provide a stronger voice for the Mexican community at GW. MXGWU is composed of Mexican and Mexican-American students from both undergraduate and graduate studies.

Welcome to the Mexican Students Association

Our activities include celebrating popular dates such as the Mexican Independence Day, the Day of the Dead, Posadas, or Cinco de Mayo, as well as organizing conferences and lectures with major political and economic figures interested in Mexico. Through a strong coordination with other Mexican and Latino orgs in the DC area, MXGWU aims to provide a strong network for you to develop academically and professionally.
