New York Psychedelic Policy Update:

According to multiple sources with direct knowledge of evolving conversations with New York state officials this week, the New York Medical Psilocybin Act will not advance any further this year.

Notably, the reason for the bill's demise this term is not due to a lack of bipartisan support from state lawmakers, but rather due to statewide budgetary constraints this year.

Regardless, the unique qualifying condition-dependent take home access framework proposed in the bill is likely to proliferate in other states next year, according to sources I've spoken to in a half dozen states so far this week.
