Veterans in Global Leadership trains, mentors and empowers veterans on their path to become tomorrow’s global leaders. VGL is a non-partisan 501(c)3.

Veterans in Global Leadership is a (501c3) whose goal is to cultivate student veterans with high-­potential to be change agents and leaders in their respective fields. The ones bringing unique military experiences and combining that with the academic knowledge, who are ready to take on their next leadership challenge. We not only bridge the gap from university to impactful roles in society but have developed a program that truly accelerates that journey.

This fellowship will place you among the top tech decision makers in the United States government at a time when technology is reshaping society in fundamental ways. Even if you've never considered working in government, you should apply. The Congressional Innovation Fellowship will allow you to make change at the highest levels and at a scale unparalleled in the private or public sectors. We are bridging the divide between Congress and the technology sector by placing tech savvy candidates like you to work with Members of Congress and Congressional Committees in order to build capacity in Congress, train cross-sector leaders -- who can understand the challenges of government and in the technology community -- and keep Congress up to date about the latest challenges and opportunities relating to technology.

Fellows receive an annual $86,700 stipend and other benefits. This is a full-time position based in Washington, DC. Remote participation is not possible.

Veterans in Global Leadership Founder Jayson Browder joined VGL Fellow Carole House on stage for the launch of Third Way's US-China Digital World Order Initiative at the International Spy Museum this past week! They were joined by incredible national security leaders to include Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber Mieke Eoyang and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Ruth Berry. The event had over a 100 people in attendance and was covered by reporters from CNN, The Washington Post, CyberScoop and The Washington Times. Congratulations on a successful event!

We want to highlight Veterans in Global Leadership Fellow Carole House who joins Third Way's panel discussions for their US-China World Order launch Tuesday! Carole is currently the Director of Cybersecurity and Secure Digital Innovation at the National Security Council, The White House. Her influence in tech policy and digital transformation is incredible and her service to the country inspiring. Carole is a former Captain and Afghanistan Veteran (Intelligence Operation Officer) in the US Army. She joins Third Way's team on the 21st!
