Thực Phẩm Cho Sức Khỏe We are people who value science: scientists, educators, journalists, students, neighbors, friends, and family.

We come from all races, all religions, all gender identities, all sexual orientations, all abilities, all socioeconomic backgrounds, all political perspectives, and all nationalities. Our diversity is our greatest strength: a wealth of opinions, perspectives, and ideas is critical for the scientific process. What unites us is a love of science, and an insatiable curiosity. We all recognize that sc

Rural Areas Brace for a Shortage of Doctors Due to Visa Policy 03/20/2017

"Small-town America relies on a steady flow of doctors from around the world to deliver babies, treat heart ailments and address its residents’ medical needs. But a recent, little-publicized decision by the government to alter the timetable for some visa applications is likely to delay the arrival of new foreign doctors, and is causing concern in the places that depend on them."

Scientists Brace for a Lost Generation in American Research 03/17/2017

"Using the hard earned cash of the citizens, all of them—has constituted an enduring bond between the scientist and the public. It was clear that we were, as scientists, bound by the necessity to pay them back not in kind, but in knowledge and technology and health. And they, the citizens, took pride and well deserved ownership of our progress. I truly believe that this mutual investment and trust is what made science in the United States of America a model to follow for the rest of the world, and also gave us the tremendous progress of the last decades. Huge setbacks will ensue if this erodes.”

BREAKING: Former Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy and Science Advisor to the President, Dr. John P. Holdren just released this statement in response to the proposed budget cuts to government science agencies.

For scientists, Trump's proposed budget cuts are deeply personal 03/17/2017

“These are some of the best and brightest people in our education system, who have chosen not to jump into careers that could immediately give them money because they believe in the enterprise. That’s going to demoralize a lot of people. It tells them both implicitly and explicitly that their government doesn’t care about their livelihood and the things that they believe in.”

House GOP would let employers demand workers' genetic test results 03/14/2017

"'It would allow employers to ask employees invasive questions about … genetic tests they and their families have undergone' and 'to impose stiff financial penalties on employees who choose to keep such information private, thus empowering employers to coerce their employees' into providing their genetic information." -Nancy Cox, president of the American Society of Human Genetics, in a letter to the House Committee on Education and the Workforce the day before it approved the bill.
