Our Soror, Dr. Opal Lee is celebrating 100 years, and as the first Divine 9 organization to serve as a Legacy Donor, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is proudly supporting the 1920 Freedom Campaign and the future 50,000-square-foot cultural arts complex in Fort Worth, Texas.

As Dr. Opal Lee celebrates her 100th Birthday on today, we’re calling on every Zeta and auxiliary member to be part of this historic moment.

With and being at the heart of all that she does, the Atlantic Region celebrates Dr. Stacie NC Grant, our 26th International President & CEO of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., on her birthday today.

Dr. Grant’s provision in the realm of education, maternal health advocacy, social justice and equality has been marked by a relentless dedication to improving the well-being of women. Her initiatives to The Extraordinary Power of S.H.E. - an opportunity for Zetas worldwide to be intentional about Social, Health and Economic justice for women at home and abroad, have empowered communities with essential knowledge, resources and connections that are breaking barriers and creating a more inclusive and equitable society for those impacted by the work of Zeta.

As a preeminent advocate for change, Dr. Grant and her legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire and drive progress within our sisterhood.

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Atlantic Region Zetas pair our signature royal blue with purple to honor survivors, remember lives lost, and stand for every person’s right to live without fear.

To anyone experiencing abuse: It is never your fault. You are worthy of support, and you do not have to face it alone.

Sisterhood calls us to listen without judgment, support without blame, and respect each survivor’s choices. Let’s put that commitment into action.
