August in Student Affairs is one big SUNDAY. 😊 Hoping the August “scaries” aren’t too tough for our ACPA fam.

Let’s meet more of our Senior-Level Leadership Community of Practice Directorate, introducing Matthew Gregory! Matthew is Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs at Laboure College of Healthcare. He has been in this role for over 5 years and has 15 years' experience in higher education.

What do you like about being active in ACPA?

ACPA is home and my family. I've been a member since 2007 and have met so many wonderful friends and colleagues that I can reach out to if needed. I feel that ACPA has a focus on learning by working collaboratively with peers where there is an element of fun, support, and best practices.

Favorite thing about working with students?

I really enjoy helping students realize all of what they can accomplish if they just remain confident and focused. Each interaction, no matter the reason, I ensure they feel supported, heard, and they leave with either an action plan for their own success or for me to act and advocate for them.

Favorite Food?

Lasagna! 🍝
