Interdisciplinary learning encourages students to explore connections across science, social sciences, humanities, and other fields, preparing them to approach complex problems and unexpected challenges with a broader perspective.

Today, October 10, is World Mental Health Day.

To mark this special occasion, a student-led initiative at Parami called the Paramians’ Wall of Goodwill has created a safe space for personal stories, kindness, and connection, offering words of encouragement to strangers who may need them most.

The initiative was sparked by Myo Myint Maung Maung, whose vision shaped its central question: What if a wall could listen?

Some struggles remain unseen. A difficult season, an unnamed fear, or a worry for someone we love can sit quietly beneath the surface of an ordinary day. Sometimes, a few words from another person are enough to remind us that we are not alone.

Have you ever made a decision using more than one kind of knowledge?

You may already think across disciplines without realizing it.

Before sharing a post online, you might ask:

✅How might other people understand it?
✅Who could be affected if I share it?

In just one everyday decision, you are connecting technology, communication, evidence, psychology, and ethics. That is interdisciplinary thinking: looking at a question from more than one perspective and understanding how different kinds of knowledge work together.

World Teachers' Day 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

A teacher's impact can reach far beyond the class.

They inspire curiosity and give the students confidence to keep learning. Sometimes, a teacher's words or encouragement can stay with us long after a lesson ends.

One Parami student shared:
“I have been fortunate to have many teachers who have shaped my growth, but especially the professors at Parami. Their kindness, guidance, and wisdom have completely transformed the way I think, learn, and see the world. I am deeply grateful to every teacher who has been part of my journey.”

Another student expressed gratitude to the teachers: “Thank you for shaping not just my education, but who I am becoming.”

These reflections show that teachers shape not only what we learn, but how we think, grow and see the world.

Thank you to all the teachers who guide us, inspire us and make a difference in their students' lives.

ကပ္ပလီပင်လယ်ပြင်မြောက်ပိုင်းနှင့် မွန်ပြည်နယ်၊ တနင်္သာရီတိုင်းဒေသကြီး ကမ်းရိုးတန်းတစ်လျှောက်တွင် ဖြစ်ပေါ်နေသော လေဖိအားနည်းရပ်ဝန်းသည် မုန်တိုင်းငယ်အဖြစ် ပိုမိုအားကောင်းလာပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ မုတ္တမကွေ့အနီးမှ စတင်ဖြတ်ကျော်နေပြီဖြစ်ကြောင်း လတ်တလော မြေပြင်သတင်းအချက်အလက်များအရ သိရှိရပါတယ်။

မိုးလေဝသနှင့် ဇလဗေဒညွှန်ကြားမှုဦးစီးဌာန၏ ခန့်မှန်းချက်များအရ လာမည့် ၄၈ နာရီအတွင်း အဆိုပါမုန်တိုင်းငယ်သည် ပဲခူးတိုင်းဒေသကြီး၊ ရန်ကုန်တိုင်းဒေသကြီး၊ နေပြည်တော်၊ မကွေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီးနှင့် မန္တလေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီးတို့ကို ဆက်လက်ဖြတ်ကျော်နိုင်ပါတယ်။
