BUSINESS BISON LEGACY: For Kathleen Kenya Nelson (Williams) ('98) and her daughter, Taylor Ivy Nelson ('24), the Howard legacy is rooted in a shared commitment to excellence and uplifting the Black community.
Inspired by her mother's journey in corporate America, Taylor followed in Kathleen's footsteps to Howard University School of Business, where both found opportunities to lead, serve, and build lasting connections. Through their involvement in pre-professional organizations and their continued dedication to mentoring Black women in technology and marketing, their impact extends far beyond graduation.
