Over the past month, author and Bible teacher Joel Richardson of Overland Park, Kansas has had nine pro-life signs stolen from his front yard.

When he caught one of the vandals, he discussed the issues with the young man rather than pressing charges.

“We had a face-to-face conversation where he heard my heart, and I learned a little bit of his story.”

The minister added: “The Bible says, ‘Mercy triumphs over judgment.’ And I hope that little human interaction will impact him more than if I just pressed charges.”

AGONY OF INTERCESSION
–Important Message from Matt Lockett–

This week has brought tremendous heartbreak, as the U.S. Supreme Court released a pivotal decision striking down common sense safeguards for the abortion industry. This tragic news concluded more than three years of intercession for JHOP DC and our pro-life prayer mobilization movement Bound4LIFE.

There is much gloating from the pro-abortion crowd coupled with rampant bad reporting of the case. One front page report, however, shifted my perspective in a moment.

The image of Life Tape with the words “Agony” helped reset my internal compass. Agony isn’t a word you hear very often in our culture that’s so averse to pain and suffering.

The week before this nonsense ruling was handed down by the court, I completed an extraordinary internship intensive with a large group of zealous prayer warriors. We called it The Howells Project, named after well-known intercessor Rees Howells who contended in prayer during the dark days of World War II.

Rees taught that there are three “laws of intercession”—identification, agony, and authority. The true intercessor will experience all three of these dimensions as he prays through the assignments of the Lord.

With Life Tape, we have always understood it to be the Lord’s way for us to identify with the silence of babies in the womb—who have no voice to defend themselves.

Now, feeling the sting of loss after such a great effort by so many people, I wonder have we really tasted agony yet? I think our intercession must be willing to go a little farther, to use Jesus' words from Mark 14:34-35.

I very much wanted to win in this case. I believed we would win. I invite you to ponder this with me though: This loss and the emotional pain associated with it is part of the process that God will use to bring us into a dimension of authority that we have not yet known.

Join with me in grieving over this loss, but let’s seek the mind of the Lord above all else. Let’s go with Him in this process of faith that certainly ends in victory. I want to go with Him wherever He’s going—even into a garden of agony right before glorious authority.

YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? The next storyline that we must see to fulfillment is Horton Hatches the Egg. God is going to raise up an ADOPTION movement in the wake of Roe v Wade, and it's going to sweep through the nation.

How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! (Psalm 139:17)

THIS WOULD BE WILD IF GOD DOES IT-

At the beginning of Bound4LIFE, God gave us a prophetic dream about an old book that would be important for the future. It was the Dr. Seuss children's book Horton Hears a Who. The main line from the book that has proven to be powerful for the movement is, "A persons a person no matter how small."

An interesting observation was recently made. The book opens with the line: "On the fifteenth of May, in the jungle of Nool..."

This Sunday happens to be May 15th. If you keep reading, you notice that the story's conflict went on all night long and through the next day.

"All that late afternoon and far into the night..."
"And at 6:56 the next morning he did it..."
"And by noon poor old Horton, more dead than alive..."
"Then, on through the afternoon, hour after hour..."
"For almost two days you’ve run wild and insisted..."

All the commotion began on May 15, and then the breakthrough came on May 16 when the kangaroo court REVERSED its opinion. Wouldn't it be amazing and awesome if the final opinion on the Dobbs case came out on MONDAY, MAY 16?

Are you aware that Horton Hears a Who is actually quoted in an amicus brief in the case? A formerly frozen embryo—who is now 22 YEARS OLD—filed a brief that made the point that she survived for two years outside the womb as a frozen fertilized egg. Her attorney ended the brief by writing, “A persons a person now matter how small, no matter which side of the uterine wall.” That's in the case record!

I'm writing this here so we'll all be amazed and in awe if God chooses to do this.

Seismic Shifting

We’re quickly approaching a post-Roe America where the power to decide on the issue of abortion will return to the states. This is why we are looking at mobilizing on a massive scale in all 50. As the battleground is shifting from the federal level to the state level, so are we. And with it, we have an incredible opportunity to start off strong. God is always speaking, and throughout the nearly 18 years that Bound4LIFE has been on Capitol Hill, the Lord has been faithful to release revelation. Recently, he released more prophetic insight concerning the Dobb's case and we wanted to share that with you!

In a surprising twist, our Christmas season has become more intensely focused than expected. You may have noticed a lot of communications coming from us since December 1, when the US Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health. That is a pro-life case with the potential to overturn Roe v Wade.

As everyone is winding down for the year’s end, the Lord suddenly called us into a mass mobilization of prayer that has already produced incredible participation. We received a prophetic dream from the Lord the day after the Supreme Court heard the case, and it shifted us into action. Common sense would tell us to wait until next year to attempt anything significant. After all, it’s Christmas. However, the dream highlighted a narrow window of time right now to make a difference.

–Mass Mobilization–
We publicly shared the prophetic dream, and it immediately resonated with Christians everywhere. In only a couple of weeks, there is a massive number of people praying in agreement with us. We have now called hundreds of thousands of people to 21 days of prayer and communion December 5–25 over the court case. We have partnered with multiple other networks to get this word out:
• 112,000 - Number of people reached with our message through Lou Engle Ministries.
• 91,000 - Number of views of daily devotional by Dutch Sheets Ministries featuring our message.
• 11,000 - Number of people joining in prayer through Intercessors for America.
• 4,700 - Number of people mobilized for night watch in partnership with The Briefing.

There are times when God suddenly takes your private prayer life and makes it public. Now is one of those times. It is a privilege to bring so many people into the mission that we have carried day after day for more than 17 years. The goal is in sight, and God is encouraging more people than ever to join with Him to see Roe v Wade overturned.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year when we sincerely wish you a very Merry Christmas, and we do it with an interesting twist on our staff photo. We hope you would agree that if there was ever a year to be the Supreme Court, this is it!

No one could have imagined what all this year would bring. We’re thankful for the surprising victories resulting from our many years of prayerful petitions. As many people argued in the court of public opinion, Bound4LIFE and JHOP DC remained persistent in our assignments. By the grace of God and with your faithful support, we’re still standing and sometimes sitting. We continue to declare that there’s a holy hill above Capitol Hill and a heavenly court that is higher than the Supreme Court. Our unanimous opinion is that you should have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
