//TW: Mentions of s*xual violence and assault in the following caption. //

April 27th is Denim Day- on this day we honor and stand with survivors of s*xual assault in remembrance an 1992 Italian Supreme Court case in which an 18 year old Italian female was assaulted by her driving instructor. The case was appealed and the Court determined the assault as consensual because “her jeans were too right”. In response to this, women of the Italian Parliament wore jeans and Denim Day began.

Wear your denim today to support survivors and use the tags in the post to share resources with others!

WELCOME BACK TO STAMPING OUT STIGMA WEEK 9!

This week’s topic is about ADHD and College Students, which impacts between 2 and 8% of college aged people. Not only can ADHD impact academic performance, but can also coincide with other mental health disorders, such as anxiety and depression. Diagnosis can also be gendered and can impact willingness to seek resources, which is incredibly important to being able to balance time, energy, and emotions most effectively.

Check out the Campus Resources for ADHD in the slides, and stay tuned for more Stamping out Stigma content before the end of the semester!
