We’re so glad to see new friendships blossoming and little ones exploring their beautiful environment with curiosity and confidence. 💛

It was a beautiful morning for our annual back-to-school meet-up at the Virginia Ave. Park and Playground. Families had an opportunity to make new connections, check out the progress on our soon-to-open second campus and beautify the entrance to the !

We are thrilled to announce that ToTH is the 🌟Winner🌟in the Montessori Schools-DC in Parent Picks 2025! Thank you to everyone who voted. We are honored and we love providing an authentic Montessori early learning experience to the families of DC. ,

First day back! We love that in Montessori schools we take time to welcome all of the returning children back to their classrooms first before phasing-in new children. This gives our returners a chance to reconnect with their teachers and the environment and practice familiar routines. After a few days, we start to phase-in new children one-at-time to give them a gentle, individualized start to school. This practice prioritizes the children’s needs and helps the whole community to settle in more quickly!

It was a joyous day on Friday as we celebrated the graduation of our ToTH kindergarteners and third year primary students. They all started out at ToTH as toddlers and we are so proud of their growth and accomplishments. Onward to elementary school! 🎉🎓
