It is with profound sorrow that the Eastern Region of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. mourns the passing of our cherished Honorary Member, Soror Lillian Davis Roberts. For more than sixty years, Soror Roberts gave of herself tirelessly to the labor union movement, championing economic justice and the rights of working people, rising to become one of the most influential Black leaders in the American Labor Movement. Yet beyond her extraordinary accomplishments, it was her compassion, courage and unwavering commitment to others that touched countless lives. She will remain forever in our hearts.
