Update Coronavirus' Impact on SAT and ACT Testing:
As some may have heard, the College Board has cancelled registrations for the March 14 SAT in the following countries affected by the coronavirus: China, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Mongolia, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates. As of March 6, the March SAT has not been cancelled in the United States, and it is likely that these international cancellations will not impact US-based students taking the March 14 SAT at a testing center in the United States. However, if your registration was not cancelled but you do not feel comfortable testing, you can contact the College Board's Customer Service hotline at [email protected] or 866-756-7346 to transfer or cancel your registration and receive a refund. Please feel free to reach out to Odyssey Tutors if you have any questions.
In advance of their upcoming April 3 and 4 international test dates, the ACT has been closely monitoring the situation regarding the coronavirus. As of March 6, the ACT has not closed any international or US-based testing centers or cancelled any students' registration for the April exam. Odyssey Tutors will continue to monitor the situation, and post updates accordingly.
