Exciting news! 🎉 Dr. Sinem, President of Bay Atlantic University, was honored to attend the 2024 Future of Higher Education Summit hosted by in Mountain View over the past two days. The event brought together leaders from universities, government agencies, workforce development programs, and technology companies for deep problem-solving sessions and engaging discussions.
One of the highlights was meeting Jeff Maggioncalda, CEO of Coursera, whose insights into the future of higher education were truly enlightening.

🌍✨ Hi everyone, your campus ambassador, Ella here! I’m a junior at Bay Atlantic University majoring in Business Administration. 📚 Today, thanks to BAU and our amazing Business Professor Selin, we attended the Climate Summit at the Washington Post. 🏢 It was an incredible opportunity to hear from speakers like Quannah Chasinghorse, discussing vital global climate issues.
🍽️ We enjoyed breakfast and lunch at the event, which gave us the perfect setting to network with speakers and attendees. 🤝 A big shout-out to BAU’s partnership with Coursera, which helped me navigate conversations successfully through a fantastic course I took recently. 🌟
📈 Exciting news for my fellow BAU students: In 2024, our university has launched the BAU Career Academy and BAU Professional Development Courses, in collaboration with Coursera. This means access to thousands of cutting-edge courses from global leaders like Google and IBM, all at no cost! 🎓💼

Highlights included a deep dive into our city’s history and a special session led by our very own President Dr. Sinem. It was a privilege to inspire these future innovators.
