Assassins Crew DC

Coming from a scene where his mentors and their affiliated dance families were all interacting and sharing together to Washington, DC’s disconnected and genre separatist mentality, Junious recognized right away the need for change in the DC scene. Beginning in the clubs Junious befriended Rashaad Pearson and began The Assassins Project: DC in 2005. Their mission: to be ‘Warriors of Light’ with the

focus of being three-dimensional in thought and movement and to show the power that community, loyalty and solidarity could have in the DC scene. By living this mission The Assassins have grown in number and talent to included its current members in order of induction: Founder & Floor Captain Junious L. Brickhouse, Rashaad Pearson, LaTasha Barnes, Ryan Webb, Toyin Sogunro, Rizqi Rachmat, Mitsuru Terame, Desmond Howard, Gabe Galbraith, Phillip Chang, Hannah George-Wheeler, Nicole Hill, Diyanna Burton, Mikey McLaine and Rico Flake. The Assassins Crew DC continues to set the example and live their mission to be Warriors of Light having and displaying integrity, character, focus and purpose through competition, performance and education throughout the world. Having expanded their mission to not only shed light on the darkness, but also to help heal one other from the everyday, artistic challenges and obstacles encountered on the journey to being and giving their best. We stand with one another fearlessly in honoring and preserving the cultures that continue to inspire us.
