You work hard. We think you could use a hotdog and b**r on a nice autumn day.

Join us October 11th in Annandale for a casual barbecue with all your favorite DC-area Marshall alumni as we chat, hang out, and probably offer some door prizes because, who are we kidding, we have sooo much swag to give away.

While registration is free, we recommend attendees make a $25 donation to the Marshall For All campaign under the DC Alumni Chapter. Help us reach some fundraising goals in exchange for some food and socializing.

Whoever wants to caravan to the Marshall-JMU game October 3rd, please raise your hand. 🙋‍♂️

Comment, DM, or email if you plan on making the trip. Otherwise, join the rest of us at Crystal City Sports Pub, and watch the game a little closer to home. Can't wait to see you!

Meet us at Crystal City Sports Pub for the Homecoming Game this Saturday! If you can't make the weekend trek to Huntington, hanging with us while we cheer on the Herd is the next best thing.

There's still time to donate $20 for our Give Your Graduation Year campaign!

Follow the Marshall For All fundraising link, change the custom amount to your graduation year, and help future Marshall students graduate debt-free. Every dollar donated now through June 2027 will be matched, so your $20 gift becomes $40 in the pocket of a student who deserves an education and an opportunity to start out with a clean slate.

Whether your donation is $19.45 or $20.26, thank you for helping remove barriers to education.

It's fall; time for grilling and firepits and crisp evening air. Join us October 11th for a fun, casual barbecue hosted by our very own Chapter President, Margaret Chapman!

Margaret is graciously opening her home to all DC-area alumni who want to stop in for some networking, chapter updates, and a burger (or veggies if that's more your thing).

Registration is free, but for those attending, we encourage a $25 donation to the Marshall For All campaign under the DC Alumni Chapter. We'll have links available on-site, or you're welcome to make your donation before arriving.

Have a burger, and help a future Marshall student graduate debt-free. It's a win-win!

Come on Herd! We're cheering for you from Arlington.... and Canada!

09/04/2026

We got to cheer on the Herd right in our own backyard Tuesday when the Marshall Men's Soccer team took on George Mason and came back from 3-0 to tie in the final minutes of the game. So exciting and such a fun time with our local Marshall soccer fans!

School is back in session, and, in honor of the incoming Class of 2030, we're asking everyone to contribute just $20 to the Marshall For All scholarship initiative.

Through Marshall For All, underprivileged students receive a quality education debt-free. Together, we can help dozens, maybe hundreds of students get a leg up for their future. All donations will get a match next year, so please share with your network, encourage friends, and get the word out to everyone who believes in the power of education.

Follow the donation link, edit the custom amount to $20.26, $19.93, $19.72, or whatever year you'd most like to commemorate.

Thank you for helping us remove some barriers between bright, ambitious students and the future they deserve.

Amond Bailey is a treaure, and we're so lucky he is such a big part of Marshall's DC-area story.

We love highlighting your experiences, your perspectives, and your memories! Reach out if you'd like to be featured in our posts, whether that's your unique take on what it means to be a part of the Marshall community or your grainy graduation photo from 1996.

Marshall's legacy is and always will be its people; let us shine a light on your part of that legacy. Go Herd!
