As a Successful Hair Extension Specialist & Salon Owner for over 17 years, I never stopped learning from others.

Whether online or in person, it’s SUPER important to keep your mind sharp as your best pair of shears!

Hair shows like Bronner Brother’s in Atlanta and IBS in New York are great place to start!

I’ve gone with friends and alone (I sometimes prefer alone) and each find I’ve learned skills and made connections that in still use today.

You get to travel and be surrounded by the element of the hair world. Your guests will also appreciate you learning and growing to better serve them.

Virtual trainings are useful on this age of technology and often more cost effective

I know it can be scary going to hair shows or trusting strangers online. The investment is yourself and your business is worth facing those fears. It also shows your circle how serious you are about mastering your craft.

If you’re not booked and busy it could be because your customer service sucks.

Excellent customer service has been the key to my success.

A guest purchased a custom lace unit. During the consultation she chose a level 7 highlight. When she came in for the fitting she decided she wanted it lighter. Her wish was my command. 😊
I added a level 10 Ash and lightened it up to this beautiful blonde.

This is a service based business. We have to cater to our guest. Or else…

There's something about writing your goals on paper.

On Tuesday while reading my journal, I came across this goal for 2021. I already completed the required steps earlier in the year. I just never scheduled the test. I also never really studied but, I digress. I scheduled the exam for 2 days later in effort to get it done before the year ends. I didn't tell anyone. I crammed and believed in myself and on yesterday I became a licensed cosmetology instructor.

I've been teaching in the hair industry for years unofficially. I've helped many stylist excel in their businesses. I'm looking forward to educating and motivating many more!
