One of those ‘this can’t actually be my life’ moments. Northern Lights and hot chocolate is just a ‘normal’ night for students in Tallinn

Social media contest winner Liz Domorad says, “After my friend’s host mom saw the northern lights the night before, my friends and I knew we had to try our luck too. So at 11 PM, armed with hot chocolate from a vending machine at Port Noblessner, we looked up and somehow got the most unreal view ever. Growing up in Maryland, I never thought I’d see the northern lights in real life, let alone while studying abroad in Tallinn, a city that’s started to feel like a second home.”
