We are very fortunate to welcome 3 highly distinguished Georgetown Law alumni as our panelists: William Anderson, head of the Activism & Raid Defense practice at the investment bank Goldman Sachs; Damien Zoubek, a corporate/M&A partner at Cravath; and Jennifer Fanjiang, general counsel at the prominent activist hedge fund JANA Partners LLC. GW Startup Career Expo

Information: The Startup Career Expo is a partnership of the George Washington University and other local universities. Hundreds of the most entrepreneurial students from the greater DC area and 35 of the hottest startups will gather in one place to network for internships and job opportunities. This Expo will be a one-stop shop for all startups looking to attract the best talent and youthful energy to fuel their growth. Students from both undergraduate and graduate levels, all majors - including programmers, web designers, writers, business, finance, and marketing students - are encouraged to participate.

Fosterly Entrepreneurship Internship Match Initiative

Information: The Fosterly Entrepreneurship Internship Match Initiative facilitates a general information exchange between potential internship applicants and entrepreneurial hiring organizations and also hosts a virtual career fair. Potential applicants and hiring organizations may participate in either or both components, but are encouraged to participate in both to increase the chance of connecting with their ideal match. Participation is free for applicants, although the virtual career fair is limited to the first 50 applicants who register. Fosterly will provide applicants with a list of potential job opportunities to based on matching criteria on Tuesday, March 11th, 2014.

Founded in New York in 1999 and expanded nationally in 2012, InSITE, or Investments from Student Interaction with Technology and Entrepreneurs, is a registered non-for-profit organization and Fellowship program for elite graduate students interested in fostering entrepreneurship and building our local startup culture. Every semester, Fellows join a startup as pro-bono consultants to help the startups develop their business or raise venture financing.
