People can say what they want about third-party companies.

After the free help failed him and the VA failed him too, I chose to take this veteran’s case pro bono.

Helping him earn his 100% mattered.

But I also got to watch an 81-year-old veteran reconnect with a community he thought he’d lost.

That’s why I do things my way.

Veterans deserve options.

And not all options are created equal.

22 kilometers.
One mission.
To remember the ones who never made it home.

Honored to be part of today’s Memorial Day event as these hikers crossed the finish line carrying the weight of sacrifice, service, and remembrance.

Memorial Day isn’t about a long weekend.
It’s about the men and women who paid the ultimate price so the rest of us could keep moving forward.

We remember them. Always. 🇺🇸

Thank you for inviting us.

As you kick off Memorial Day weekend with family, friends, BBQs, and time off… remember why this holiday exists.

Memorial Day isn’t about thanking veterans.
It’s about honoring the men and women who never made it home.

The ones who paid the ultimate sacrifice so the rest of us could keep living free.

So before you say “Happy Memorial Day,” take a moment to remember the cost behind it.

Never forgotten. 🇺🇸

If you’re separating from active duty within the next 6 months, these are habits you should absolutely steal from service members who got their VA disability benefits rolling before they were even out.

1. They started learning the VA process BEFORE separation
They didn’t wait until terminal leave to figure things out.

2. They went to medical while still active duty
They stopped brushing things off and started documenting what was actually affecting them.

3. They focused on conditions impacting them NOW
Not random things from years ago that no longer matter.

4. They understood the value of preparation
Especially before C&P exams.

5. They built a strategy instead of throwing claims at the system
Strong claims > a giant list of unsupported ones.

6. The one I’m NOT keeping:
Taking advice from everyone who “knows a guy who got 100%.”

That’s how people end up confused, overwhelmed, and filing claims with no direction.

PS - you can comment “BDDHELP” and I’ll send you Ace Your BDD Claim that teaches you how to build your VA claim before separation the right way.

At some point, more information turns into more confusion, and confusion gets expensive.

How many denials are you willing to eat?

How much time are you willing to lose?

How much money are you going to leave on the table trying to piece it together by yourself?

Your claim doesn’t need 20 different opinions.

It needs a strategy.

Everybody wants to make this a free vs paid debate. It’s not.

VSOs get paid whether your claim gets approved or denied.

Upfront companies get paid before they ever deliver anything meaningful.

Neither one automatically means they’re invested in your outcome.

That’s the part veterans need to pay attention to.

So this conversation isn’t really about free vs paid.

It’s about SKIN IN THE GAME.

It’s about whether the person helping you is actually invested in your outcome.
