Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) provides scholarships and ongoing support to students who are underrepresented among the U.S. Applicants from groups underrepresented in study abroad are given preference, in an effort to make the demographics of US undergraduates studying abroad reflect the rich diversity of the US population. Since 2010, FEA has awarded more than 900 scholarships totaling over $3 million.

FEA is hiring a Fundraising Manager to join our team!

FEA is proud to celebrate Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month!

Since Spring 2025, FEA has funded over 30 scholars of Asian & Pacific Islander heritage to study all over the world. More than 80 FEA Scholars since Spring 2025 have traveled to destinations across Asia and the Pacific.
We can’t wait to support even more students in making their study abroad dreams a reality, no matter where in the world they aim to go.

Happy Earth Day! Here are a few ways that FEA, as a small nonprofit organization, supports climate goals:
