Katie's Words of Wisdom: "Don't be afraid to put yourself out there, go through an interview process, and ask questions even if it doesn't work out. Experience is everything, and an opportunity could come back around from those relationships you've already made! I couldn't have become Bryant's diving coach without those connections!"

Meet our next SIM Alumni: Vinnie Girardi SIM class of 2017

Currently Serving as the Director of Admissions at Servite High School

Vinnie's advice: "If there's one piece of advice I would give to anyone, it's to stay flexible and open to new experiences. When I first entered Georgetown, I had my sights set on working in college athletics, but fate led me down a different path and I eventually found myself working in hockey operations for an NHL team and a NCAA Division 1 Men's Hockey program. The moral of the story is that you never know where life will take you, so always be ready to seize new opportunities as they arise."
