AU Club Cross Country/Track and Field (AU Club XCTF) is a running club at American University, in Washington, DC. The team is an official National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA) member, and participates in Cross Country and Track events throughout NIRCA's Mid-Atlantic Region.

We had a very eventful weekend with our 2nd annual Stravaganza banquet, winning club sport athlete of the year, and the team competing at our last track meet of the season. Thanks to for a joyous Terrapin Invitational to close out our season!

Hi my name is Kendall! I’m a senior studying economics here at AU. I’m originally from RURAL Pennsylvania. I’ve been running ever since I was a little kid and I’ve been competitively running since middle school. I love run club because of the friends I’ve made here which has been plentiful. My other hobbies are rugby, reading, and biking primarily. My pre meet hype song would have to be Cinderella Man by Eminem.

Alem is our runner of the week! Get to know our club’s 400m record holder below!!
1. Year: I’m a first year ppl student
2. Hometown: I’m from Rockville Maryland but went to school in silver spring Maryland.
3. How long have you been running?: I’ve been running for 8 years. I started with running club AAU track in 6th grade and continued on through all four years high school.
4. Favorite run club memory?: My favorite run club memory was watching the scooter relay at the umbc meet and running after each leg cheering.
5. What are your hobbies?: For hobbies, besides running, I’ve been a gymnast for more than 10 years. In the last year I started rock climbing a lot. I’m also a massive nerd, I play all sorts of video games and trading card games card games
6. Favorite pre-meet hype song: one mic one gun by Nas
