On behalf of Mayor Bowser, I want to congratulate PLWHCC, LLC on becoming a member of the district’s very first cohort of Equity Impact Enterprise grantees. 
 
You have made history! This impactful grant, funded by fines collected by the DSLBD Compliance and Enforcement team, is the first one dedicated to our small, resident-owned, disadvantaged businesses. 
 
This inaugural Equity Impact Enterprise (EIE) grant is a testament to this Administration’s priority of balancing the scales for local businesses in the name of equity, as well as supporting District-based small businesses by keeping more local dollars local.
 
As the advocates for the small business community, we’re proud that Mayor Bowser allowed us to use these resources to help strengthen the businesses that do so much for our great city.
