Continuing our showcase of the Department of Business faculty with Dr. Qi Wang, our long-time professor:
Dr. Qi Wang, Full Professor in the Department of Business, has for over 30 years engaged in a broad spectrum of Gallaudet University roles, including teaching and program/curricula development, program assessment and accreditation management, research and publishing, grant writing and management, mentoring students and faculty, guiding university honor students in their capstone research projects, and service to a wide range of committees and boards. She undertook many initiatives to extend Gallaudet’s reputation for learning across major institutions of academia, business, and government worldwide. She is dedicated to individual student success, going beyond course-by-course performance to assisting with career placement for graduating students, or advising on the pursuit of graduate studies.
Fun facts about Qi: she especially enjoys globetrotting (over 20 countries and regions so far!), singing as a member of a local choir, dancing, and practicing yoga.
