Wednesday, we had the honor of celebrating PA Week with AAPA President Dave Bunnell, a proud GW PA Program alumnus! 💙💛
It was inspiring to hear his insights on the future of the PA profession and the opportunities ahead. Our students also had the chance to share their own perspectives, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversations about the profession’s future.

Happy PA Week! 🩺💙

We’re proud to celebrate the GW PA community not only for the work they do in the classroom and in patient care, but also for the ways they help move the PA profession forward.

GW faculty, students, and alumni recently attended and presented at the “REPRESENT!” Summit, sponsored by NCCPA, which brought members of the PA community together to share best practices for recruiting, retaining, and supporting PAs from historically marginalized groups.

During the summit, Professor Henry sat down with Dr. Straker to reflect on Dr. Straker’s career and the changes he has witnessed in PA education and the profession over the past 40 years.

This PA Week, we’re especially proud of faculty who truly go beyond by educating the next generation of PAs. They continue to lead, advocate, and contribute to the growth of the profession as a whole.

Such a great afternoon with Project Access at McKinley Technology High School! 🩺💙 Our GW PA students had the opportunity to connect with high school students, share more about the PA profession, and work through an interactive clinical case together. We loved seeing everyone get hands-on, ask questions, and learn more about a future in healthcare!
A huge thank you to Hannah who helped make this event possible, we’re excited to continue building connections through our pre-PA mentorship program! ✨
