YEMENI PERFORMERS/SINGERS/MUSICIANS NEEDED: Read more below
In case you haven't heard, the Hamtramck Fire Dept won a national contest from Discovery Channel's Destination America to bring a free 4th of July fireworks display and festival to the City of Hamtramck. The celebration will take place Saturday July 5th at Keyworth stadium. The organizers would like to feature the ethnic diversity of the city. Do you know a Yemeni singer, dancer, or other performer who would like to showcase Yemeni culture for a national TV audience? There is one 10 minute performance spot available between 5:30-7pm.
Unfortunately this will take place during Ramadan so that may be a challenge. But this is a great opportunity if you know a performer, singer, musician, band, or dance group that would like to perform. Please spread the word and direct all interested parties to contact me.
